Introduction

The JS01 is a plug-and-play device designed for marine environments, enabling seamless integration of SAE J1939-compatible engines, transmissions, and gensets into an NMEA 2000® network. It converts critical engine data—including engine speed, operating hours, fuel level, oil temperature, and gear ratio—making it easily accessible on multifunction displays and other NMEA 2000 devices onboard.

App & Configuration

The JS01 requires no initial configuration before connecting to your NMEA 2000 network. However, to view engine data or adjust the instance number for multiple engines, use the JS01 Config App on an Android device. The app also lets you filter engine error and warning messages transmitted to the NMEA 2000 network.

Analogue Engine Data Conversion

If your engine outputs analogue signals, you can monitor parameters like RPM, temperature, humidity, tank level, oil temperature and pressure, or rudder angle using the A037 Engine Data Monitor & NMEA 2000 Converter.
