I have an AS07-N2K and an A026+ connected to the NMEA 2000 (N2K) backbone on my boat. My IS20 display is currently connected to the A026+ via WiFi to show position and time data. However, I’ve noticed that the time on the IS20 sometimes jumps or becomes inconsistent.

When I connect the IS20 directly to the N2K backbone and select the data from N2K instead of WiFi, the issue doesn’t occur. Does anyone know why this might be happening or how to fix it when using WiFi?

Hi,  This isn’t actually an issue. From the IS20’s perspective, since it’s receiving data via WiFi, it can’t distinguish that the time and GPS data are coming from two different sources. Because of this, you might see jumps in the time and position data.

We recommend either changing the data input on the IS20 to N2K or disabling the GPS output to WiFi using the A026+ configuration tool.

        Hope this helps!
