Hi – New to this forum and having read a bunch of the posts, just wanted to get some advice as I redesign an older electronics system on our boat. Currently have 20+ year old B&G instruments (wind, speed, depth) to H1000 displays, a B&G autpilot (AP1000 brain) and a Raymarine E80 chartplotter (seatalk). My goal is to replace the chartplotter and B&G autopilot with a NMEA 2000 unit(s), but keep the B&G wind and speed sensors and display units. So I think I need someform of bidirectional and multiplexing capability to have the NMEA 0183 from old sensor sent to chartplotter and AP, but also be able to send VMG, Bearing to waypoint etc from Chartplotter to old B&G displays. Does this make sense and can any recommend the right products to use? Many thanks. WSC
