      Happy new year everybody,

I just bought a A026, still not arrived, but already checked possibilities.

this receiver will be shore based and I want to send the data straight forward to MarineTraffic, I have already dedicated IP and port for sending data to that web.

Could I do it without any add-on? (I know could be done in many ways with NMEArouter but it has to be connected to a computer), and I want to do it standalone, I had COMAR SLR200NG that could do it.

I’m going to use the USB connection when commissioning the receiver to configure it, after that would be only for powering the device only and from time to time to check the device parameters.

I already have a NMEA > USB converter and that one I’ll connect to the monitoring software (I’m using Seaclear & Tiki Navionics Gold 3.2, this last only from time to time)

If I can forward straight away via Wi-Fi I won’t have any problem because FTB I won’t use such connection from my PCs.

So I guess that I can do that setting-up

      – wi-fi in station mode

      – using my wi-fi SSID & password (of my wi-fi network)

      – entering the proper network IP / Port / Gateway / etc. of my LAN

      – Forwarding in the router internal IP / port (above indicated) to external IP/Port provided by Marine Traffic.

am I right or the new firmware allows to do it without such steps?? 🙄
