We recently have a customer who reported that A028 didn’t shown as an external GPS source so the GPS data cannot recognized on NMEA 2000 backbone. The issue was solved by upgrading the software of Axiom. Hope this information is helpful to others who have similar issue.
The A028 started working now!
The latest SW update to the Axiom that was launched last week (since November 2019) has cured the problem.
Not sure if the update fixed the problem or that a reinstall of the firmware did the job, but happy that the mystery is solved now. Very weird.
