    Hello

That looks like an excellent solution and it would transmit the data to Wi-Fi perfectly.
My only concern is that they say to connect the device to name 0183 output with an rs232 port. Does this mean the signal and voltage is for an rs232? Our systems run the more modern rs422 NMEA 0183. It’s not a problem if there devices only work with rs232 because we supply a bridge device between rs232 and rs422. It will convert the signal to the correct voltage. You just need to know beforehand in case you need to buy the bridge. I’ve done a mock up picture below of what I mean

If the device is NMEA 0183 RS422 compatible then you don’t need the bridge.
Please check with manufacturers if there device is compatible with rs422 signal. If it is then you don’t need the bridge device. If not then you will need it sadly (it is cheap).

As for software I’m not sure what software you can use. Please let us know what software you find. We will have a little look when there is time.
